You are now in Punta Cabanas, one of Cape Finisterre’s many magical places. A few feet down towards the sea, you can see the union of three mystical elements studied and connected through various legends by the local chronicler Benjamín Trillo: Piedra del Sapo (Toad Rock), Piedra del Vino (Wine Rock), and the Inquiero River.
On the other side of the road leading to Finisterre’s lighthouse, before reaching Punta Cabanas, you probably came across with the sculpture of a pilgrim. From here, you can enjoy the spectacular 360-degree views of the ria of Cee and Corcubión and the capricious rock formation of Mount Pindo (2 057 feet).
Along the road, on the right-hand side, you will see the descent towards the “cemetery at the end of the earth”, designed by the architect César Portela, with a QR point for further information.
